Final Advert

Advert Shot List

To begin there will be fast edits to show the limited time the person has to have breakfast in the morning
• Establishing shot of a business worker getting up (down stairs)
• Medium shot of them opening the fridge and getting out a drink
• Close-up shot of them taking a glass out of the cupboard
• Close-up shot of them pouring out their drink
• Medium shot of them putting the carton on the side and reaching into another cupboard
• Close-up of the box of bars
• Back to the medium shot where they are putting the box down next to the glass of juice
• Extreme close-up of their hand as they reach into the box and pull out a bar with the logo displayed clearly to the audience
The editing will then slow down whilst the person is eating their 'Get up and Go' bar to indicate that it doesn't take very long to prepare and that it can be eaten and enjoyed in a short space of time without having to rush
• Extreme close-up shot of them unwrapping a bar
• Extreme close-up shot of them taking a bite out of the bar
• Close-up shot of them throwing the wrapper in the bin
Finally, the edits will be fast again to show that nothing has changed and they are still in a rush
• Medium/ long shot of them finishing off their drink and walking out of the door
• Image of the bar and the logo appears on the screen, accompanied by the logo – “A Speedy Solution to Breakfast”

Advert Treatment

A smartly dressed business person walks into the kitchen and gets themselves a drink of no-brand fruit juice; everything they do is fast as if they are in a rush. They then put the glass on the side and return the carton to the fridge before opening a cupboard and pulling out a box of “Get up and Go” cereal bars that they put down next to the glass on the counter. They take a single bar out of the box and both the music and the person slow down as they eat – they take slow bites of the bar to emphasize how this bar can be fit into fast paced lifestyle. Next they throw the wrapper into the bin and drink their juice as everything speeds back up again and they are back to being in a rush. They grab their bag/briefcase/laptop bag and swiftly exit. The image blurs as the tagline – “A speedy solution to breakfast” appears on screen along with the logo and possibly with a voiceover.
