First Copy of the Trailer
This is the first copy of our trailer, at the moment it is incomplete as we need to add more running shots and other shots to do with the sacrifice including a shot of Roxie getting dragged away, in addition to this, we haven't yet finished the music or the titles. Also the part where Claire is telling the story is far too long and needs to be shortened and have other parts of the trailer cut in between the story. At the moment our trailer looks more like a film opening than a trailer because it is mostly in a chronological order and because the story takes up most of the time in the trailer.

Ritual Story
This is the only scripted part of our trailer and is the story concerning a past ritual that one of the main characters tells the others. The story talks about a ritual that happened in the woods many years ago where someone was killed under the tree, later one of the characters is dared to put blood on the tree which is when everything changes.
H - Did you hear about the satanic rituals in these woods?
S - No
H – Apparently it happened decades ago. In the local village; there was a young lady who seemed to be different to the others, she was classed as an outsider and she was never made welcome by anyone. It was around that time that the young girls of the village began to disappear; at first it was one per year but then it became more frequent, till everyone was too scared to let their children out.
They one night they found one of the corpses of a child lying down underneath an old tree with her blood dripping down into the very roots of the plant; they say that it was too gruesome that even the priest was sickened by what he saw.
They later accused her of being a witch; and hanged her for her crimes in the very same tree that the young girl was found under; but something went wrong and instead of being hanged they killed in the same fashion as the girl, this caused her to bleed out into the soil surrounding the trunk, and they say that because of this, the tree became her immortal tomb. But they did not know that they were totally wrong about their accusations; as when they searched her house they found evidence of satanic rituals and pentagrams drawn into the very fabric of the building. The creature they had killed was not of this world; and it became enraged because of its own death. Since then it has been said that if innocent blood ever touches the trunk that the beast will be released from its prison and will roam this world again…
C - Which tree is it?
H - They say it’s that one over there …
C – I don’t believe it; you’re just talking nonsense witches don’t exist and neither do demons
H – Why don’t you do it then … release “the beast” if you are so sure that there is no such thing?
S – Come on Lizzie as you said there is no such thing
H – OK then as you say that there is no such thing; I dare you to put some of your blood onto the trunk
C – Fine I’ll do it, but nothing is going to happen …
(Cuts fingers and gets some blood on the tree trunk)

Filming Schedule
Sunday 13th November
We started our filming and filmed the scenes where the characters enter the woods and begin to set up their stuff. We also filmed the story scene but we realised that we didn’t have the story typed out so we decided to re-film it at a later date. We filmed a lot of running scenes and the scenes where some of the characters disappear but when we watched the footage back we realised that there wasn’t much variety in the angles of the shots.
Sunday 20th November
We tried to film the scene where the main character puts her blood on the tree but the fake blood we had was far too runny, also one of our actors was ill so we were limited with what scenes we could film. However, we managed to film more of the running scenes and a couple of the sacrifice scenes. When we watched the sacrifice scenes back we realised that, because the blood was so runny, it didn’t show up on camera very well also we didn’t have enough of it to put in the pentagram.
Sunday 27th November
We are going to try and finish our filming by filming the sacrifice scenes again, a scene where one of the characters gets dragged away, the story telling scenes, and more of the running scenes from different angles.
Wednesday 30th November
We will look over our filming the day before and decide if there is anything that needs to be re-filmed, we will also do any filming that we didn’t have time to film on the Sunday before.
Tuesday 15th, 22nd, 29th and possibly the 6th of December
We will do all of our editing on the Tuesdays and decide on what scenes still need to be filmed and what scenes need to be re-filmed. We will also add our music to the trailer.

Shot List
1. The group of picnickers going into the woods with their camping stuff. An establishing shot is used to show all of the characters and to show the magnitude of the woods.
2. A medium to long shot shows the characters and their tents in a clearing, maybe with a fire in the middle. The surrounding trees are visible, showing that they are deep in the woods.
3. It is later and darker and an over the shoulder shot is used whilst one of the characters tells a story about the history of the woods.
4. A close up of the storyteller’s face with the fire lighting it from underneath to make it more dramatic.
5. A flashback that shows what the storyteller is explaining with them still narrating the story over the top. A medium shot of a person bound to a tree, another person walks into the shot making it an over the shoulder shot. It cuts out as they walks towards the person tied to the tree.
6. Back to the over the shoulder shot as the storyteller finishes their story and shows the other information that backs it up and shows them the supposed very same tree.
7. Close up of the tree as the examine it and one of them accidentally grazes their palm on it.
8. A reaction shot of the others as they look at the ‘evidence’.
9. A medium shot of two of the campers in a tent as a shadow passes over the side of the tent and they hear rustling noises outside. They look at each other before looking at the tent entrance.
10. Extreme close up of one of their faces?
11. A medium shot (low angle?) showing the tents as the two people crawl out of their tent and look around.
12. A long shot shows all of the campers looking around as they see a shadow and hear a noise. One of them (possibly the storyteller) goes into the trees to have a look but doesn’t come back.
13. Close up of the others as they enter the woods to look for the other person and get lost themselves.
14. Different close up shots of the characters running through the woods on their own. (Close ups of their feet, etc)
15. Title
16. Medium shot to close up of the main character on her own in a small clearing. She hears sounds and there are lots of shadows moving around as she looks around. Something suddenly grabs her from behind and drags her into the bushes as she screams.
17. Title – “Coming Soon”
18. Medium shot of one of them at home packing talking to her mum. She says “What’s the worst that can happen” before it cuts out.
Detailed Story Idea
Our film trailer has been based on the children’s nursery rhyme “the Teddy Bears Picnic”. Like other nursery rhymes there is a sinister tone to parts of it; that inspired us to think of a creepy alternative to this popular tune, for example “Beneath the trees, where nobody sees, They'll hide and seek as long as they please …” this seems to be darker and would indicate something is amiss here.
Our story is about a young group of campers, who enter the wood were there has been a past history of killings; this is supposed to be a nice time enjoying nature, but this then changes into a night of hell. One of the girls starts to tell her friends of a story that involves a satanic ritual that happen in the very same wood, this unknown to them sets of events that will change their attitude to the paranormal for ever, as they unknowing release a creature that has been forgotten by humanity and is hungry for flesh and blood. They happen to be in the same location that these horrific events took place; as they are ‘inspecting’ the tree one grazes their hand and blood is drawn, this is what brings the beast forward.
This then leads to an unforgettable night that will scar them forever; separated and alone, as they battle for their lives against an unprecedented enemy, in a wood that never seems to end, it seems uncertain whether they will survive the night …

Pitch
Our trailer is based on a modernised version of the teddy bears picnic rhyme; however instead of bears being in the woods warning people to stay away, there are very dangerous demons.

Advert Treatment
A smartly dressed business person walks into the kitchen and gets themselves a drink of no-brand fruit juice; everything they do is fast as if they are in a rush. They then put the glass on the side and return the carton to the fridge before opening a cupboard and pulling out a box of “Get up and Go” cereal bars that they put down next to the glass on the counter. They take a single bar out of the box and both the music and the person slow down as they eat – they take slow bites of the bar to emphasize how this bar can be fit into fast paced lifestyle. Next they throw the wrapper into the bin and drink their juice as everything speeds back up again and they are back to being in a rush. They grab their bag/briefcase/laptop bag and swiftly exit. The image blurs as the tagline – “A speedy solution to breakfast” appears on screen along with the logo and possibly with a voiceover.

Advert brand name and slogan
Our cereal's brand name is 'Get Up and Go' bars and our slogan is "A speedy solution to breakfast", both of these things emphasise how our cereal bar is a healthy alternative to breakfast that is perfect for people who are in a rush and don't have much time to sit down and eat something such as a standard bowl of cereal or piece of toast. Our main target group is business people who are in a hurry to get to work and don't have any time to waste, however, our cereal bars are not exclusively aimed at this group and would also be ideal for anyone else who doesn't have time for breakfast or wants to have their breakfast on the way to work or school.
